Project - Decking

The area was just an empty yard. It was home to a bicycle and a wheelie bin. The concrete slab was a support platform for the fire escape style wood staircase, which led to the front door of the upstairs Coach House.

The brief

Create a space for a table & chairs, a barbeque cooker, and a central flower bedding area. 

The Framework was constructed on 2 levels to hide the concrete on the upper level. The flower bed was created with railway sleepers and a decked pathway design around the perimeter of the bedding enclosure for access. The design transformed the entire area into a practical and functional outdoor space.
